Nach ihrem Debüt im Pariser Club „La Gare“ bieten der Komponist, Pianist und Produzent Alessandro Sgobbio und der Schlagzeuger und Perkussionist Michele Rabbia ein Konzert an, das von der Energie der Improvisation und klanglichen Überraschungen geprägt ist.

ALESSANDRO SGOBBIO Composer, Pianist, Producer Alessandro Sgobbio has been voted one of the best new talents of the year at the Italian 2023 TopJazz Polls. He keeps expanding his personal vocabulary of compositions, improvisations and spiritual explorations throughout music. Sgobbio has earned Master’s Degrees at the Norwegian Academy of Music (Oslo, Norway) and the Parma Conservatory of Music (Parma, Italy), releasing 14 albums as a leader / co-leader. Performing internationally as a soloist, duo (with guest drummers Michele Rabbia & Christophe Marguet) quartet with Silent Fires, Alessandro has been touring across Europe, Scandinavia, UK, China and the USA. He has received several awards such as the “Umbria Jazz” Contest and the “Padova Carrarese” Prize. MICHELE RABBIA Michele Rabbia is an Italian percussionist. After his first studies at the school " Civica Savigliano ," follows the courses of drums in Turin with Enrico Lucchini. In 1989 he went to the United States where he had the opportunity to attend lessons whit Joe Hunt and Alan Dawson. His long career features performing and recording collaborations with Antonello Salis, Andy Sheppard, Stefano Battaglia, Marilyn Crispell, Dominique Pifarely, Louis Sclavis, Paul McCandless, Michel Portal, Matmos, Matthew Shipp, Enrico Pieranunzi, Paolo Fresu, Michel Godard, Jan Bang, Rita Marcotulli, Anja Lechner, Vincent Courtois, Maurizio Giri, John Taylor, Eivind Aarset, Regis Huby, Francois Couturier, Ralph Towner, Javier Girotto, Daniele Roccato, Sainkho Namtchylak, Tore Brunborg, John Tchicai, Bruno Chevillon, Furio Di Castri, Maria Pia De Vito, Ciro Longobardi, Italian Unstable Orchestra, Jean -Paul Celea, Gianluca Petrella and many others.
